Wants to be amused
20 Feb 2008 11:35 amI'm feeling more out of sorts than usual today. It's nothing specific and I don't particularly want to take up bandwidth whining about it, but I'd love to be distracted by comments about things that are nifty, beautiful, funny, and otherwise happy-making.

Date: 20 Feb 2008 07:40 pm (UTC)Mike Jittlov has released The Wizard of Speed and Time on BitTorrent.
Griddlers (http://www.griddlers.net/) is a fun logic-puzzle site.
I finally earned enough Filthy Lucre in Kingdom of Loathing to acquire a Pompadour'd Puppy familiar.

Date: 20 Feb 2008 08:56 pm (UTC)Congratulations on your new familiar. I'm relatively new, still playing solo and letting my leprechaun suck up the meat for me.

What was the price range on the R*mi restaurant?
Do you want to know the URL for a somewhat addictive flash game that involved "rolling" a ball through a maze with simulated gravity?

I don't think I want the flash game myself (I have lots of game-type distractions, but I can't afford to get sucked into them right now) but maybe some of the other people reading this entry would want it.

Date: 20 Feb 2008 08:07 pm (UTC)Toni will be here between 4 and 5 to pick me up. After I introduce her to Polly, (my Kromski Polonaise spinning wheel--a Christmas gift) we are heading out to dinner on our way to Stitches. I'll probably see you around :)

And my son told me I'm the best grandparent, because despite the fact that the others ones all live right there in town, they never see the baby, and I show the most interest and talk to them most often. Go me!
I bought the baby this for his first birthday (coming up on April 3).
