I'm feeling more out of sorts than usual today. It's nothing specific and I don't particularly want to take up bandwidth whining about it, but I'd love to be distracted by comments about things that are nifty, beautiful, funny, and otherwise happy-making.

I'm packing for Stitches and all it's yarny goodness!

Toni will be here between 4 and 5 to pick me up. After I introduce her to Polly, (my Kromski Polonaise spinning wheel--a Christmas gift) we are heading out to dinner on our way to Stitches. I'll probably see you around :)

Have fun at Stitches! I'm not going - the hotel sold out before I had a chance to sign up for anything, and I didn't want to schlep back and forth from here. I suppose there's a chance I'll go to the market on Friday, though.

Call right now and ask about cancellations. My Yarn Angel got into the Hyatt last year the week of the Stitches. I just canceled my Saturday night reservations the other day. You know you wanna come...

BTW I made my hotel reservations several months before the Stitches schedule was released. I am not surprised that they were booked up.

I have an abiding hatred of crowds, so when something gets that popular, I am less likely to make an effort to go to it.
