I'm at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott for a NAAFA convention.

I drove here. Once I hit LA I realized that although I've visited neighboring areas a number of times and have spent a day or three in LA proper here or there, I've never been here for a solid week.

I probably won't have much time to do anything other than conventioning, but if I were to do something around town, what do you think it should be?

If i were in LA, i'd want to see the LA County Art Museum (near the tar pits?) and the Getty. They're both probably inconvenient to reach, although the Getty may be on the way out of town.

However, i'd never heard of the Museum of Jurassic Technology. That sounds *cool*

I've seen the LA County Art Museum - ages ago, they interviewed me for a job (but I accepted Apple's offer instead). I'm likely to want to "just get home" tomorrow but I think I will pass by the Getty, we'll see what happens.
