I'm at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott for a NAAFA convention.

I drove here. Once I hit LA I realized that although I've visited neighboring areas a number of times and have spent a day or three in LA proper here or there, I've never been here for a solid week.

I probably won't have much time to do anything other than conventioning, but if I were to do something around town, what do you think it should be?

You probably aren't the least bit interested in where I would want to go if I were staying in LA for a week (Hollywood Park just down Century Blvd. from where you are, the Commerce Casino in Commerce, and the Bicycle Club in Bell Gardens).

Venice Beach is a terrific venue for people-watching.

Are you at all interested in Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, or Universal Studios?

My very favorite thing to do in LA, of course, is to leave. The Bay Area is only six hours' drive away!
