I actually didn't enjoy watching the movie because it was overwhelming to my senses. And watching it, I didn't pick up on most of the plot points discussed in the links I've posted. So my liking it is almost entirely because of the subsequent conversation about it.

Something like lierduoma's comment is part of why I stopped reading GoT.
